Our mental health services aim to assist clients in effectively managing mental health symptoms by providing a comprehensive approach that empowers them to develop appropriate coping skills and productively decrease symptoms.

The vision of our mental health services is to provide a holistic approach to mental health treatment to address self-destructive and high risk behaviors through integrated care and support that will empower individuals to reclaim their lives

Peer Support

Peer support is the “process of giving and receiving encouragement and assistance to achieve long-term recovery”. Our Peer support team offer their unique lived experience to provide support focused long-term recovery. The Here For You enterprise peer support team provide emotional support, share knowledge, and encourage recovery support skills.

Mental Health Assessment

The mental health assessment is a process of gathering information to assess client needs and functioning order to determine appropriate service/intervention based on identification of the presenting problem, evaluation of mental status, and formulation of a diagnostic impression. This process is used to determine the need for care and recommend appropriate servers/treatment and/or the need for further assessment.

Group Counseling

Staff will utilize special skills to assist client’s in achieving treatment objectives. The group sessions can consist of lecture, viewing a video or structured discussion session.

 

The groups will include Dialectical behavioral interventions such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal relationships.

Intensive Case management

Include elements of skill building and practicing skills that client will be encouraged to use in their natural environment. Case management also consist of connecting and linking clients to resources that would aid in reducing barriers to recovery.

Crisis Intervention

Crisis intervention include interactions with client’s in response to a crisis or emergency situation experienced by the client, a family member, or a significant other. The crisis intervention includes assessing what happened during the crisis and the client’s response, emotional reaction, and working through healthy coping responses.

 

Crisis intervention is the process of responding to situations in a timely, responsive, and therapeutic manner in order to safely de-escalate an individual or situation, provide mental status evaluation, and determine appropriate treatment services.

Individual Counseling

Counseling allows individuals to work one on one with a trained staff member to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Individual counseling can help deal with many personal topics in life such as anger, depression, anxiety and substance abuse to work through challenging or influential memories, and work toward desired change.
